Description
The HPE FlexFabric 10Gb 2-Port 533FLR-T Adapter is a high-performance network adapter designed for modern HPE ProLiant servers. This dual-port FlexibleLOM (LAN on Motherboard) card supports full 10 Gb/s copper connectivity using 10GBASE-T RJ-45 ports, making it ideal for data-center workloads that require high throughput and low latency. With the Broadcom BCM57810S chipset, the adapter delivers line-rate 10 GbE performance with advanced offloading capabilities to reduce CPU load.
Designed with virtualization in mind, it supports Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) and Network Partitioning (NPAR), allowing multiple virtual machines to share a single physical adapter efficiently. It also includes hardware accelerations such as TCP/UDP checksum offload, large send offload (LSO), and TCP Offload Engine (TOE), making it well-suited for storage traffic like FCoE or iSCSI.
Installation is flexible: it fits into a PCI Express 2.0 ×8 slot and comes in both full-height and low-profile brackets for different server chassis. The adapter supports standard features like jumbo frames, PXE boot, and link aggregation (LACP), while the “Sea of Sensors” 3D technology provides thermal monitoring to keep power usage optimized. With backward compatibility for 1 GbE and support for CAT 6A cabling up to 100 m, this adapter helps data centers make a smooth transition to higher-speed networking without replacing cabling or increasing complexity.
